Sitting here in cold australia dreaming of Rocco's. Had planned to make it back this year but airfares are going through the roof and we just spent two months touring West Oz. Still a slight chance for early september. Fingers crossed Say hello to Naleem (tell him I will bring extra gin if I make it) and say hello to Rafeeq (If he is still about - tell him its beer o'clock)

I was just looking thru my 2006 photos of A-Bay and Roccos whilst hating the autumn weather here. Everyone is right - Rocco's IS the place to stay at A-Bay and the kiwis wish we were back there.

Hope all is well with you dude....had big melancoly attack over the last day or so about being in SL...happy days....
The soon to be Mrs Shep doesnt want to do SL on the honeymoon.....will be working on her when i return to the uk!!! he he

Please , tell to our friend Rafeek, that we are in late to send the photos of us at the roccos.No problems,every thing is all right,but since we are back to France we are very busy.Just tell him that he is in our mind and in our hart.It will be done at the biginning of september.We really had one of our best time in SL at the roccos

Rocco's Rocks. Beautiful location, excellent food, and service that was second to none (especially the 10 hour drive from and to the airport!!!  )
Waking up and falling asleep to the sound of the sea has always been one of my favorite things. The sea at Abay is alive ... raw spirit! Prepare to be viciously mollested and spat back onto the beach by them waves. You'll be ridiculously sand-burned but wearing one hell of a smile on your face 
And with rooms within staggaring distance of the bar ... (what more could a girl ask for.  ) it's everything you could want wrapped up in one lovely little package!

The pictures of kalkudah passekudah are post tsunami? i imagined tsuanami damage to the beach/bay by way of erosion etc. was muuch more severe...

Just a fantastic place!!!
Grab a surfboard and walk 300 meters by the beach to have great surf! Or sleep all morning to have a fantastic late breakfast! Have a fresh papaya or pinapple juice! Or just lay on the sun or do whatever you like! Great food! Great wildlife! Great people! An Rocco's is really the best place to stay in A-Bay!

What a gorgeous place to stay. Felt right at home at Aragum Bay, great place, great people. Can't wait to visit again! Wether you're a surfer or you just want to kick back and relax, I highly reccommend it.

"Great place to just kick back and relax. We loved the hospitality and the simplicity of everything. Don't be put off by the 'troubles', we saw nothing more dangerous than the wildlife - which is just fanstastic and right on your doorstep!
We're not surfers, but if you are this is definitely the place to go!
